Womens Ministry
PURPOSE STATEMENT: The purpose of the BBC Women’s Ministry is to come together as Women of God in unity and love on one accord in ministry to be encourage, strengthen, empowered, and made whole by the Word and Wisdom of God. As one of the largest growing ministries in the church we recognize the need for the older women in the church to teach by their example, encourage through their experience, mentor through ministering, support, pray for and uplift the younger women of the church with godly grace and mercy as instructed in Titus 2:3-5…………
“Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the younger women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the Word of God will not be dishonored.” (AMP)
IMPACT STATEMENT: As we grow in Christ to operate in and fulfill God’s purpose; God fortifies, equips and prepares us for ministry through His Word and the transforming power and guiding truth of Holy Spirit. Our earnest prayer as we grow as a ministry is to become an arm of the body of Bethlehem Baptist Church that reaches out to embrace and extends to help through the manifested love, grace, peace and mercy of Jesus Christ working within us, to meet the need and bring spiritual enlightenment and growth. We hope our reach doesn’t just touch other women, but that it extends the love of God to their children, families, communities, jobs etc. And through our ministry outreach an impact is made that causes continual growth in the body, brings forth a C.H.A.N.G.E. in the region and profoundly expands God’s Kingdom.
Colossians 2:6-7; “Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say, living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude. MEETINGS: Monthly Ministry Meeting: 3rd Sunday of every month currently via Zoom
